A men's fashion statement appeared at the National Puerto Rican Day Parade last Sunday: pajama-stripe shirts worn with a casual swagger and tails out over white T-shirts. Not just stripes, but windowpane plaids and traditional contrasting collar and cuffs were also to be seen. Cuffs in coordinated colors were a new twist. While not exactly a buttoned-down look, it certainly was a change from graffiti-covered oversize T-shirts.
